• Buying Alliance Golf Classic

MRA was the chosen charity for the Buying Alliance 2006 Golf Classic.  The golf tournament took place on June 5th, 2006, in Rochester, NY.  If you wish to participate in future events as a sponsor or player, please contact us

• Taste of Africa

During last year’s holiday season, MRA held a social fundraiser.  Over 100 individuals came out during a down pour in New York City to learn more about Medical Relief Alliance.  Thanks to the attendees, the event raised a total of $4000, which went towards improving the health and quality of life of people living in Africa. The funds contributed were used to hold a primary health screening for over 200 individuals in Kirindon division of Transmara district on December 1st 2005, World AIDS Day.  There are no health facilities within 40 mile radius of this community.  Three doctors were onsite with critical medications and medical supplies. A vehicle also was used to transport critically ill individuals to the nearest hospital.  Despite the fact that Tuberculosis and Malaria are prevalent in this area, many of these individuals have not seen a doctor in 10 years.  Thank you for enabling us to provide them with this service.
