Mission Statement

Medical Relief Alliance (MRA) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the health and quality of life of families living in sub-Saharan Africa. MRA began operations in Kenya in 2002.

Our vision is to realize a world where children, women and men affected with HIV/AIDS are able to lead healthy and self-sufficient lifestyles.

Medical Relief Alliance, Inc. (MRA) operates three interrelated programs to strengthen local institutions and individuals in Sub-Saharan Africa.

1. Goat Hope: Our micro-enterprise signature program that helps beneficiaries achieve sustainable income and rise above the poverty line within 18-24 months.
2. Medical Supplies and Equipment Relief (MS+ER): This program provides essential, medical equipment to hospitals in rural Kenya based on their specific needs.
3. Community Health Outreach Program (CHOP): We organize local campaigns to raise awareness and reduce HIV infection rates.
